A concertina book opens out into one continuous strip of paper. You can draw a single image along the whole length, or work page by page and open it out to see the sequence, which is why they suit travel journals, coastlines, skylines and anything that unfolds over time.
The handmade INDIGO books use 100% cotton rag paper with a deckle edge, in A5 and A6 portrait plus a landscape panorama. Cotton rag takes wet media, so they'll hold a watercolour wash. For pencil and pen, the STUDIO A5 concertina has 250gsm cartridge paper in a black hardback cover.
