Sketchbooks, portfolios, paper and card that have been repackaged or are last-of-stock — same materials, much cheaper. The stock changes weekly.

We're on the Bowerhill Industrial Estate — about 8 miles east of Bath, 10 miles south of Chippenham, and within easy reach of Devizes, Trowbridge, Calne and Corsham.

If you're an art group, school or studio within roughly a 20-mile radius of Melksham, we can deliver large orders ourselves — useful for sketchbooks, ream pallets and anything bulky. Mention it when you order, or call the shop.

Four times a year we throw open the warehouse on a Saturday and team up with the brilliant Books About Art. They bring a curated selection of art & design books; we bring extra clearance lines, demos and ends-of-line stock you won't find on the website.
No — just turn up during opening hours (Mon–Fri 9am–4.30pm). If you're bringing a group of more than six, drop us a line first so we can keep the aisles clear and have someone free to chat through projects.
Yes — it comes off at the till when you pay. You don't need a code, there's no minimum spend, and you don't need to ask. The shelf labels show the standard website price; the 10% is deducted on the receipt.
Yes. Tell us at the till that you have an account — we'll match the 45% off RRP wholesale pricing in person, subject to the £100 + VAT minimum order.
Yes — schools, colleges, universities and council-run organisations (museums, galleries, visitor centres) can pay by PO with 30-day terms. Bring the PO with you or email it ahead.
We run them quarterly — four a year. Sign up to the open-day list above and we'll email you a fortnight before each date.
Melksham train station is roughly 1.5 miles away (a 30-minute walk or a short taxi). Bus routes serving Bowerhill stop within a 5-minute walk of the unit. Free parking if you're driving.
Not currently — collections are during shop hours only (Mon–Fri 9am–4.30pm, plus the quarterly Saturdays). If you need an out-of-hours pickup for a large school order, call us and we'll see what we can do.
