Artway is operated by Artway Ltd — a family-run UK art materials business based in Melksham, Wiltshire. We supply art materials to everyone: individual artists and students buying online, and schools, colleges, universities, art shops, galleries and trade customers buying at wholesale.
Our range includes our own Artway products alongside carefully chosen materials from other makers, covering surfaces, drawing, paint, print, design, storage and more.
Prices on the website are shown both including and excluding VAT. VAT is charged at the standard rate. We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate, but errors and omissions are excepted; if we discover an error in the price of goods you've ordered, we'll let you know before processing your order.
Title of the goods does not pass to the purchaser until payment has been made in full to Artway Ltd.

You can check out as a guest or create an account. We generally aim to ship all orders within 2 working days of receiving them. Expedited shipping is available as an option at checkout for customers who need their items sooner. Full delivery options and costs are set out on our Shipping page.
Artway Ltd uses secure payment facilities for all online purchases. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Online transactions are processed securely by PayPal and/or Stripe. Your card details are encrypted at the point of order using SSL encryption software. Wholesale account customers may also pay by BACS.
Once your transaction is complete you will receive an email confirming that your order has been paid for. Please keep this email as your proof of purchase. We are unable to advise why a payment may have been declined — only your bank can provide that information.
You must claim in writing against the carriers for any goods damaged or pilfered in transit within 3 days of receipt of the goods. We strongly recommend that you also show the parcels to the carrier and sign for the goods as damaged, otherwise a claim may be invalid.
You have the right to cancel your contract with us within 14 days of receipt of your goods. We regret that returned goods cannot be accepted without prior authorisation — please contact us on 01225 819241 to arrange the return of your goods and to receive your refund.
The goods must be returned to us within 14 days of you contacting us, and we will refund your money within 14 days of receiving the goods back. Goods must be in the same condition as you received them to qualify for a full refund.
Returning the goods is the customer's responsibility, and they must be securely packaged to ensure they arrive back to us undamaged. Please also obtain proof of postage. If the goods are not faulty (i.e. a change-of-mind return) then you are responsible for the cost of return postage. If you cancel after 14 days and the goods are not faulty, an administration fee of £2.50 will be deducted from your refund and any charge for delivery will not be refunded.

Under the Offensive Weapons Act, it is an offence to sell knives, knife blades or any product that may be perceived as an offensive weapon to persons under the age of 18. Cutting tools and blades in our range are only available for customers aged 18 or over.
By placing an order on our website you confirm that you are over 18 years of age and can legally purchase products covered by the Offensive Weapons Act. Please do not order these items on behalf of anyone under 18.
You have the right to request that any personal data — such as your name and email address — is erased from our records. To make a request contact us. Once your data has been deleted, you will no longer have access to your account, including your order history.
Artway uses cookies — small text files stored on your device that help us understand how you use the site. We use cookies in accordance with Google Analytics for statistical analysis. PayPal requires the use of cookies to process transactions. Social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook also require cookies; please refer to each platform's own terms for details.

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information on this site — errors and omissions excepted. Many of our products are made using recycled materials, which can result in variation in colour or finish between products. We do our very best to represent products accurately in photography; however, as we have no control over customers' monitor or mobile settings (resolution, colours and so on), we are unable to guarantee that colours will appear exactly as they do on the website.
