Description

The Artway Studio A5 Concertina Sketchbook is the fold-out member of the Studio hardback range. Instead of bound pages, 22 pages (44 sides) of 250gsm heavyweight cartridge paper fold out into one continuous strip, so a landscape, a street scene or a story can keep going across as many pages as it needs, then fold back down between two hardback covers.

The paper takes pencil, charcoal, pastel, pen, ink and marker confidently, plus light watercolour washes; for heavier wet media, our watercolour pads are the better fit. It's heavy enough to use both sides of every page, and it's acid-free, so finished work won't yellow with age.

The black cover is the same greyboard and Wibalin cloth cover as our Studio Casebound sketchbooks, and an elastic band keeps the folds closed when it's in your bag. Best for urban sketchers, travel journallers, illustrators and students who want to draw in sequence or at panorama scale.
