- Greyboard core wrapped in warp-resistant Wibalin cloth, bound with a 1" silver wiro; opens completely flat, expands to fit mixed media, and pages tear out cleanly along the perforation.
- Takes pencil, charcoal, pastel, pen, ink and marker confidently, plus light watercolour washes; for heavier wet media, our watercolour pads are the better fit.
- The 195mm square format has no dictated orientation, compact and quick to fill for illustration, pattern work and sketchbook journalling.
- Whitened using an oxygenated process rather than bleach, not chemically treated afterwards, so finished work and portfolio pieces won't yellow with age.

The Artway Studio Spiral Bound sketchbook range is, just like our traditional casebound version, an elegant and professional spiral notebook - available here as a square sketch pad (195mm to each side). As with all of our Studio products, the spiral bound version uses high quality materials, for an excellent balance of beauty and practicality.
The professional appearance of this portrait sketchpad means it can also be used as a professional notebook, for small painting studies or drawing with graphite pencil and ink. In addition, the silver spiral binding allows for natural expansion, so layered or textile work can be easily accommodated, making the Studio Spiral a perfect small fashion sketchbook.
Fully hardcover and spiral bound with 1” silver wiro, each sketch pad contains 48 pages (96 sides) of our premium, 170gsm, Artway cartridge paper. The cover material is Wibalin - a black paper used for its cloth texture and to restrict warping.
