  • A black sketch pad perfect for sketching/presenting artistic ideas, with with 92 sides/46 pages of premium cartridge paper, casebound in hardback.
  • Each sketchbook contains heavyweight 170gsm cartridge paper with sufficient tooth (surface texture) for general art and design applications and light washes. Slight buckling will occur when using water colours and inks.
  • Made from greyboard covered with black Wibalin cloth (restricts warping) for a professional aesthetic, our sketchbooks are made with traditional binding methods, resulting in a quality finish
  • All our Studio drawing books are 100% acid free. We use an oxygenated process rather than bleaching to whiten our papers preventing yellowing over time, resulting in an archival quality paper.

The Artway Studio Casebound sketchbook range is, just like our Spiral Bound version, an elegant and professional traditionally bound, hardback notebook - available here as a square sketch pad (285mm to each side). As with all of our Studio products, they are entirely UK made note books - the casebound version also using high quality materials, for an excellent balance of beauty and practicality.

If you’re looking for a formal journal, professional note book or a square sketch pad for format-specific art and design ideas, the generous dimensions and minimalist design of the Studio Casebound range make it the perfect artist sketchbook for you - the heavyweight, 170gsm, square paper can take a variety of media from ink and graphite pencil to soft pastels and markers - it’s even able to take a light wash for watercolour sketching with only minimal buckling.

Made entirely in the UK, this hard cover square notebook contains 46 pages (92 sides) of our premium, 170gsm, Artway cartridge paper. The cover material is Wibalin - a black paper used for its cloth texture and to restrict warping.

Available in sizes from A3 to A5, a smaller 195mm square variety and a US-style ‘graduate’ portrait format - all UK-made - the Artway Studio Casebound black sketchbook is stylish and minimalist but also premium quality and excellent value.
