- The paper is 100% acid free. We use an oxygenated process rather than bleaching to whiten our papers preventing yellowing over time, resulting in an archival quality paper.
- Each sketchbook contains heavyweight 170gsm cartridge paper with sufficient tooth (surface texture) for general art and design applications and light washes. Slight buckling will occur when using watercolours and inks.
- Made from greyboard covered with black Geltex cloth (restricts warping) for a professional aesthetic, our sketchbooks are made with traditional binding methods, resulting in a quality finish.

The Artway Studio Casebound sketchbook range is, just like our Spiral Bound version, an elegant and professional, traditionally bound, hardback notebook - available here in A3 Portrait format as our JUMBO 80-page edition.
As with all of our Studio products, the casebound version uses high quality materials, for an excellent balance of beauty and practicality. A brilliantly flexible sketch pad - great as a large watercolour sketchbook (the heavyweight, 170gsm, high quality paper can take a light wash with only minimal buckling), as a stylish, professional notebook, or by students for drawing and sketching ideas. The high quality paper is able to take a huge variety of media, including graphite pencils, ink, soft pastels or markers.
Available in sizes from A3 to A6 and two square varieties., the Artway Studio Casebound black sketchbook is stylish and minimalist but also premium quality and excellent value. Fully hardcover and casebound, this JUMBO edition contains 80 pages (160 sides) of our premium, 170gsm, Artway cartridge paper - double the content of our standard edition. The cover material is Wibalin - a black paper used for its cloth texture and to restrict warping.
