  • Sturdy 300 gsm 100% cotton cold pressed sheets of high quality watercolour paper to support all your creative ideas.
  • A highly resilient and durable watercolour paper, able to withstand saturation from large volumes of water with minimal buckling from watercolour paints.
  • The paper also works well when used for mixed media work - drawing with charcoal or pastel over watercolour particularly. The paper is also able to withstand scraping, erasing and repeated washes whilst colours remain vibrant.
  • 100% acid free paper means there will be no yellowing of the paper over time. The paper is also internally and externally sized to reduce colours fading.

Description

The Artway Watercolour Pad is built around what watercolour and gouache painters actually need: twelve sheets of archival-quality, 300gsm, 100% cotton, cold-pressed paper, highly absorbent and built to withstand saturation from large volumes of water with minimal buckling, plus repeated scraping, erasing and washes while colours stay vibrant.

Watercolour and gouache are the lead uses, and the paper also works well for mixed media — particularly charcoal or pastel layered over watercolour, with pencil, pen & ink and markers also confirmed compatible.

Acid-free throughout, with sizing inside and out to help reduce colour fading. Gummed along the short edge to keep the paper stretched and flat as it dries.

Available in A5 (21 × 14.8cm), A4 (29.7 × 21cm) and A3 (42 × 29.7cm).
