Artway 3" Flat Paint Brush - Short Handle - Hog Hair

Description

Perfect for any painting using thicker mediums, such as oil paint, the strong and durable bristles of an Artway Hog Hair paint brush can hold and distribute thick paint colours much more effectively than a softer grade hair such as sable, which is typically used for watercolours.

The 3” width of this decorator size paint brush enables you to hold a large amount of paint - perfect for large, expressive brush strokes and even some degree of finer line, if used edge on - it can also be used for a variety of varnishing purposes. The short handle is finished in a beautiful dark brown hue, with a matte texture.

As Hog brushes are typically used with oil paint or gesso, or thicker mediums, you should preferably use solvent to clean your brushes, as opposed to water. If applying varnish, clean with white spirit, and then washing up liquid and water.
