  • A black sketch pad perfect for sketching/presenting artistic ideas, with 96 sides/48 pages of premium cartridge paper, spiral bound in hardback.
  • Each sketchbook contains a heavyweight 170gsm cartridge paper with sufficient tooth (surface texture) for general art and design applications and light washes. Slight buckling will occur when using watercolours and inks.
  • Made from greyboard covered with black Wibalin cloth (restricts warping) and spiral bound in silver for a professional aesthetic. The ring binding allows for expansion so you can add material and remove pages easily.
  • All our drawing books are 100% acid free. We use an oxygenated process rather than bleaching to whiten our papers preventing yellowing over time, resulting in an archival quality paper.

The Artway Studio Spiral Bound sketchbook range is, just like our traditional casebound version, an elegant and professional spiral notebook - available here in A4 portrait format. As with all of our Studio products, the spiral bound version uses high quality materials, for an excellent balance of beauty and practicality.

A perfect fit as a plein air watercolour sketchbook (the heavyweight, 170gsm, high quality paper can take a light wash with only minimal buckling), the professional appearance of this portrait sketchpad means it can also be used as a journal, a professional notebook or for life drawing and sketching with graphite pencil or ink. In addition, the silver spiral binding allows for natural expansion, so layered or textile work can be easily accommodated, making the Studio Spiral a perfect fashion sketchbook.

Fully hardcover and spiral bound in the UK with 1” silver wiro, each sketch pad contains 48 pages (96 sides) of our premium, 170gsm, Artway cartridge paper. The cover material is Wibalin - a black paper used for its cloth texture and to restrict warping.
