  • Our A6 concertina cotton paper sketchbook contains 36 sides/18 continuous pages of 100% cotton rag paper, each sheet individually handmade, featuring deckled edges, with natural variations in texture, size, and shape between each sheet.
  • Each sketchbook contains a heavyweight 250gsm paper with a mid-surface texture, suitable for watercolour and all painting uses, as well as dry and soft media - for oil painting, the surface will need to be prepared with gesso.
  • It is suitable for both dry and wet media applications and perfect for watercolour sketchbook paintings while on the move.
  • A compact sketchbook, completely handmade with our 100% cotton watercolour paper, casebound in a beautiful naturally dyed indigo blue hardboard cover, secured with an elastic strap.
  • Handmade in Northern India by local artisans, these sketchbooks contain 100% recycled cotton rag paper sheets and come individually wrapped in recycled kraft paper. The paper is also 100% acid free.

Description

Made by hand in Northern India by local artisans these unique sketchbooks contain individually produced 100% recycled cotton rag paper sheets with a natural deckled edge. Possessing a mid-textured surface and a slightly off-white sturdy 250gsm composition they are highly suitable for both wet and dry media applications, including watercolour. All books feature handmade indigo blue naturally dyed paper covers and an elastic retaining strap to keep your artworks secure. Both Panorama and A6 casebound books come with a red ribbon page marker.

The Concertina A5 and A6 books consist of a continuous surface folded and compiled like an accordion. This flexible and extremely versatile format allows for personal modification of canvas size from using individual sheets to working across multiple folds for panoramas, landscapes or even complete storyboards!
