Description

The ARTWAY Block Printing Ink Medium is a useful addition to your printmaking kit! This versatile medium can be mixed with acrylic paint to create block printing inks suitable for relief prints from lino, wood, or soft block. It's a great way to expand your range of colours without needing to buy additional inks! Simply mix with acrylic paint at a ratio of 1:1 to create a printing ink with perfect consistency.

The ARTWAY Block Printing Ink Medium can also be used as an extender with our block printing inks. Add Artway Block Printing Medium to extend the colour without diluting the structure of your ink. Up to a 1:1 ratio the colour will be extended, after this the colour will start to become more transparent. Choose a 1:9 ratio for a mostly ink mixture or a 9:1 ratio for a predominantly extender mixture. This flexibility allows you to control the ink's transparency and intensity.
