Artway Chinese Sumi Rice Paper Pad

Description

Rice Paper Pad - 9” x 12” x 48 sheets of 35gsm, very lightly textured paper.

Slightly larger than A4, this paper can be gently removed from the pad using a metal rule to ensure a clean tear. 

Can be used for a range of artistic activities including traditional Sumi ink drawing, collage, block printing, watercolour, graphite pencil, fineline pen, etc.

• Pad of 35gsm, lightweight, lightly textured rice paper
• Raw, unsized & absorbent semi-transparent paper
• Ideal for vigorous brush strokes and gestural marks
• Cotton white with soft, open texture. Acid-free
• Supplied as a gummed pad along the short edge with a 2mm backing board to protect and keep sheets flat

Note: This paper is very thin and delicate (35gsm approx), so it is not specifically intended for any printer use, particularly laser printers! However, certain inkjet printers are more tolerant of non-standard paper thicknesses than others. Some users of this paper have, through their trials, bonded it to regular printer paper for support prior to printing ... with some success. We'd like to stress however that any trials of this nature are entirely at your own risk!
