Artway are now offering the fantastic quality 170gsm cartridge paper that features in our popular Enviro Sketchbooks in packs of single sheets (100) - available in A1, A2, A3 & A4 sizes. Perfect for large scale drawing projects, and can even take a light wash of watercolour or ink* - using watercolour pencils or brush pen, for example.
Featuring a light texture, the Enviro Cartridge Paper is perfect for drawing and sketching in graphite and ink, as well as soft media and markers. And as always with our eco friendly Enviro range, the paper is acid-free and fully recycled, while also benefiting from being made in the UK - this lowers the carbon footprint of the product by eliminating unnecessary travel.
Traditionally recycled cartridge paper has had a grey tinge to it which has come from the printing on the paper. To ensure that our ENVIRO paper does not have this, the mill makes the paper to our specification using only pre-consumer waste (essentially off-cuts from the paper being produced at the mill) and we find that this gives our paper a very nice creamy/off-white finish.
